Presentation of the album

The seventh edition of the International Guitar Festival La Capilla took place in the past months of May and June at the Centro Cultural Helénico, with the participation of distinguished national and international performers.

The material of each of the concerts gave expression to the first musical document of the festival.
For the first time the circumstances are present to allow the creation of a document which reflects the guitar work of several schools, not only from Mexico, but also from abroad, specifically in this occasion from Argentina and Cuba.

The following artists participated in the record: Néstor Benito (Argentina), Freddy Pérez (Cuba), and from our country: Ensamble Madrigal, Mexico City Guitar Quartet, Julio César Oliva and Juan Carlos Laguna, and of course, the Manuel M. Ponce Guitar Quartet, Festival organizer.
